Chartres

Chartres Cathedral is only a short train ride from Paris and worth the trip. This was a place I'd always wanted to see. It is rich in history. The village it sits in is very quaint.

I had been watching Rick Steves' travel show for years. The British tour guide that appeared on the show was the same one at the cathedral that day. It was surreal. He gave us a very thorough tour of the place. It was divine.

Me and Desperado

This is the Labyrinth that pilgrims would crawl around on their knee through.

Hanging out with the Gargoyles
I could feel the history of this place the second I stepped inside. I wish I had a digital camera back then, but they hadn't been invented yet.
