The Work Goes On!

J passed the sacrament for the first time on Sunday and he's headed to the temple this Saturday. He's the best. He's been helping us out a ton with the work. He brought two of his friends to a church activity and we're going to teach them again tomorrow.

Transfers happened and our district stayed the same! Woohoo! The zone changed up a little bit and we're really excited to see new missionaries come into our zone. This transfer is going to be awesome! We'll be having 2 mission councils and a zone conference with President as well. Lots of training on the way.

We've been finding some awesome Asian people here lately. It's incredible how diverse the culture is here between all the people. We're still teaching a lot of young people, it's amazing how much potential they have in their lives. We've really focused on teaching them about how important a Restoration is for their own personal lives. We've been using the video called, "Origin" on the mormonchannel.org. I invite you all to watch it as well.

Life in Madrid is going great! It's been really hot lately which is weird for Madrid in October. Halloween is coming up and we carved pumpkins today! We'll be having a huge party this Saturday (the day after Halloween). My comp and I are in charge of the best game in the world...: Darts and Balloons. Oh yeah. We just have to make sure we keep it safe.

My buddy Jason, who's serving in Japan right now, wrote me and told me because of some major medical problems (including nerve damage in his back) he has to return home for surgery. If not he could lose the use of his right leg. He's an awesome missionary and I know that everything is going to work out for him. If you all could keep him in your prayers that'd mean a lot to me.

Here's one of my favorite quotes:

"The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not a checklist of things to do but something that LIVES in our HEARTS."

Eu amo voces! Espero que voces tenham uma ótima semana. (Portuguese!)
